Publisher’s Synopsis:
Kat saw the warning signs that her marriage was on the brink of collapse. The pressure of middle-class existence, an absent sex life, and a husband about to lose his job all spelled disaster. In a last-ditch effort to save their marriage, she hatched a plan to remind Ethan of their sexier days. First, she convinced him to take her on his next business trip. Second, she mailed a negligee to the lodge where they would be staying. Third, she had to figure out which model Ethan gave the negligee to when he didn’t realize it was for her. Falling in love the first time was easy. Trying to do it a second time proved to be a lot trickier.

Point of view:

Rellim’s Thoughts:
This is my second short story by Barbra Campbell. My Christmas Wish is book 5 in the “Tales of the Nightie” series. I haven’t read/listened to any of the other books in the series, but this completely stood on it’s own. While I wish a bit more time would have been spent solidifying the emotional bonds between Ethan and Kat, this super-steamy audio was a fun listen. I would classify this as erotica. Most of the book was dedicated to sexy scenes and nothing is held back in terms of language or descriptions. Get ready to listen to Ethan & Kat make use of, often creatively, of the entire resort.

Narration:
My first time listening to Logan McAllister, but it won’t be my last. He has a sexy voice and is terrific at giving each character their own unique sound. He also used a different register depending on the chapter’s POV, so it was always easy to tell if it was Ethan or Kat.

I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving a review.
