Rellim’s Thoughts:
I don’t actively seek out BDSM, too many times I run into YKINMK and end up DNFing – but I really enjoy Rebekah Weatherspoon’s writing style so I grabbed the Fit Trilogy after she mentioned it on Twitter.
At less than 2 hours, this novella is a quick, sexy & slightly kinky easy read. I felt the “setting the stage” for Grant & Violet to merge his personal fitness & submissive training was a little awkward, but once it was established, I enjoyed this one. I especially loved the banter between Grant & Vi. While Vi seeks out Grant to lose weight and get healthy, it was obvious that no one was focusing negatively on weight/size. There’s a hiccup in the relationship that gets resolved fairly quickly. Ending feels more HFN than HEA, but I’m hoping we’ll get to see more Grant & Vi in Armando’s book, Tamed.
