They love to see me perform, put on a show, and I was okay with that, until I met you. With you I started to see that something was missing.

Publisher’s Synopsis:
All Keira Kenney wants is her happy ending. Too bad she can never make it through a first date. Is a nice man who’s into fitness and comics, with an extensive knowledge of everything science-fiction too much to ask for? Apparently, since Keira can’t seem to find a partner who can simply tolerate her interests. Perhaps it’s time for her to give up. She has her job at Melrose Fitness, a new season of her favorite space drama added to streaming, and hundreds of thousands of words worth of fan fiction all to keep her mind busy. Her heart will have to wait.

Pyrotechnics expert, Daniel Song isn’t looking for anything. He spends his days doing what he loves, and his nights and weekends participating in the kinky activities his body craves. Single life as a sexual switch suits him perfectly, giving him the freedom to indulge in the types of erotic adventures some people only dream of.

When a good friend asks Daniel if his co-worker, Keira can join him at a local sci-fi convention, neither of them expect any sort of fireworks to spark. After all, Keira’s turned off by kink and Daniel can’t live without with it. So naturally they both agree that an official first date would be a great idea. With this new relationship fresh between them, Daniel shares what he can of himself without scaring Keira off, hiding his shock and growing infatuation as she rises to every sexual occasion with her silly, geek-girl personality. It’s only a matter of time before they both have to face the truth; what he wants is the furthest thing from what she needs. But in the meantime, pushing each other’s sexual limits seems like a good plan. It’s like not either of them is looking for love.

Point of view:
3rd person. Alternating perspectives, clearly defined.

Rellim’s Thoughts:
While this stands on it’s own, the books are best enjoyed in order starting with Fit. I truly enjoyed the first two novellas – but I loved this one. Really, the only thing wrong with it is that I wish we could have MORE. Self-described geek Keira & friend-of-a-friend Daniel were so much fun to get to know. They each appreciated the other for who they were. Daniel’s delight in Keira’s exuberance was downright adorable. I haven’t read many books where I’m sitting there with a goofy grin on my face through nearly the whole thing. Even the seeeexxxxyyyyy scenes were filled with lots of laughs. Except for that one part where Weatherspoon made me cry. I was a little emotional on behalf of Keira, but it all worked out between our fabulous couple and they get their fantastic HEA.

We get a few little updates about the couples from previous books which is nice. There’s also a bonus Christmas-themed short story at the end called Blessed. Even MORE Grant & Vi.

Update: There’s an additional novella for the series, Wrapped. It’s about Keira’s cousin, Shae. So there is a bit more Daniel & Keira to enjoy. 💗

Note: Weatherspoon’s Beards & Bondage series is a tangential spin-off of the Fit Trilogy. The first book, Haven, has brief mentions of a few secondary characters.

About the author:
After years of meddling in her friends’ love lives, Rebekah Weatherspoon turned to writing romance to get her fix. Raised in Southern New Hampshire, Rebekah Weatherspoon now lives in Southern California where she will remain forever because she hates moving.
