3rd person. Alternating perspectives, not by chapter, but clearly defined.
Rellim’s Thoughts:
At less than 3 hours this was a cute, fairly low angst, shifter novella. I also like that while “fated mates” it was more like something that drew them together – not a force that violated their will.
The majority of the angst came from Sophie’s ex stalking her and Rick trying to protect her. Rick and Sophie’s relationship was a mix of sexy & sweet. While a short book, Monroe still gave enough world building to have a nice sense without taking from the character part of the story.
Narration:
I enjoyed David Quimby’s narration. His voice worked well with the low-angst and sweet style of the writing and story.
