This is the second novella of the series which follows the same couple and build off events from previous books – so you want to listen/read them in order.
Beginning with events immediately after New Years SEAL Dream, this one was more cohesive than that but still felt a bit choppy and underdeveloped in terms of story. The suspense/action I expect from titles under these categories is (so far) missing. There’s two mystery-type sub plots – one resolves itself without anything action-wise from the characters or any type of real explanation. The other is just left hanging and doesn’t really have the oomph to make this a cliffhanger. While this ends with Tucker & Brandy’s wedding, it seems the next books might get more suspense as Tucker is now back to being a SEAL.
Narration:
JD Hart’s narration continues to be solid and makes these easy to listen to.
