The want of it all was like fire ants under his skin, a prickling sensation whenever he was close. A burn of need that defied any and all logic.

Publisher’s Synopsis:
One man healing from injury, the other hiding from scandal, find love in a cabin in the snow
Singer Tyler Hart is desperate for peace after a humiliating public scandal, and a beautiful cabin in snowy Vermont seems like the perfect place to find it. Only when he arrives at the cabin he finds out he’s sharing with a man that everyone thinks is a spy.
Wounded in the line of duty, Garrett is hiding out in the only place he feels safe—his brother’s cabin. Finding out he has a roommate, particularly one as sexy as Tyler Hart is one thing, but realizing he could now have every fantasy come true, is another, and he wants Ty to stay.
Snow and Secrets is a forced proximity romance, with a pop star in hiding, a wounded man healing, snow, secrets, and one very big hot tub.
Point of view:
3rd person. Alternating by chapter between Garrett & Tyler’s perspectives.
Rellim’s Thoughts:
This is the third book in Stanford Creek series. While each couple’s relationship is covered within the book – there’s events & people from the previous book that make these best read in order. Note: If you only read MM, Scott has provided a little rundown of the previous MF books and this could be read as a stand alone.
Garrett has been the mysterious brother in the previous books and now we find out why. However, he has reasons that he’s keeping it all from his family but it definitely strains their relationships and causes him a lot of stress.
Ty is hiding out from a media scandal and ends up sharing a cabin with Garrett and the sparks fly. But really, I like that even though this is a somewhat short book, it feels like these two really get to know each other…as much as Garrett’s secrets will allow.
I liked the forced proximity and the suspense/action that occurs when Garrett’s work finds him in Stanford Creek. The epilogue was nice and gave this a solid HEA.
I enjoyed the update on Cody & Megan but wish there had been a little more catching up on Danny & Rachel. I hope Scott plans to continue the series as I’d love to read more about Justin & Kyle.
About the author:
RJ is the author of the over one hundred novels and discovered romance in books at a very young age. She realized that if there wasn’t romance on the page, she could create it in her head, and is a lifelong writer.
She lives and works out of her home in the beautiful English countryside, spends her spare time reading, watching films, and enjoying time with her family.
The last time she had a week’s break from writing she didn’t like it one little bit and has yet to meet a bottle of wine she couldn’t defeat.
