While the storyline for Dean & Kate’s relationship is completely covered in this book – there’s an overall arc to the Fugitive Heroes: Topaz Unit series that makes these best experienced in order.
This is a terrific second chance romance with a lot of mystery/thriller/suspense added in. This time it isn’t just the CIA after rogue Topaz agent, Dean – Kate has been dragged into a crime ring run in her hometown. Plus, the CIA pits siblings against each other so that Dean really doesn’t know who he can trust. I loved the pacing for this one.
I’m so exited for the final book in the series featuring Topaz’s leader, Hunter.
