This was the daily deal on Audible the other day and I liked the opportunity to check out new to me author & narrators.
I enjoyed this. Sexy one-night-stand turned vacation fling turned happily ever after. Jordyn is on a solo honeymoon in Cabo after being dumped at the altar. She meets up with NFL star Amir – but because she knows nothing about sports, she just thinks he’s “that guy from high school.” Opposites attract and sparks fly. I loved all the adventures they went on and how they spent a lot of time getting to really know one another. They also set the bed on 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Minus exes on both sides causing a little trouble, I felt like this was pretty low angst. An easy and steamy listen.
Narration:
Dual narration by Mari and Leon Nixon. I enjoyed their performances. Both were a great fit for the characters Mo’nae wrote. I hope to listen to more of their work in the future.

Tay Mo’Nae is a 27-year-old Urban Romance author who pens about Black Love. She create stories to help her readers escape reality and create a movie in their head. She loves writing about characters that at least one reader can relate too.
