Point of view:
1st person. Alternating perspectives between Braun & Angela.
Rellim’s Thoughts:
This is book 2 in the Interstellar Brides Program: The Beasts series. There’s a few references to book 1, and while I’d recommend listening in order – this stands pretty well on its own.
Braun and Angela were instalove and instasex. They do go on a cute little “date” and actually spend quite a bit of time together given the timespan of the book. I loved Angela’s family and how Braun interacted with them.
There’s a jerk ex, a “big misunderstanding”, and some smaller ones that add a little angst – but overall this is a lot of sexy times between fated mates. There’s a surprise and a sweet HFN.
Narration:
I really enjoyed Liam DiCosimo & Nicole Small here. They’re a great fit for their own characters and do a good job with all the other voices as well. Easy listen and I’d love to hear more of both of their work.
