1st person. Alternating between Ronan & Nova.
Rellim’s Thoughts:
Enjoyable yet somewhat predictable romance. While I love many of the tropes: fake dating, forced proximity, small town, (sort of) second chance – the story sometimes gets bogged down with so much else that it feels like the romance aspect gets pushed aside. Having grown up in a smaller Texas town, I definitely identified with the football obsession and the personalities of many of the residents.
Ronan and Nova have a lot of fun interaction and definitely a few sexy scenes – but they never quite solidified for me as much as I had hoped given the length. A funny and comfortable light romance.
Narration:
I enjoyed Savannah Peachwood & Sebastian York’s performances. Peachwood did a great job with all the Southern accents/drawl.
