Rellim’s Thoughts:
My first experience with A.K. Graves and it won’t be my last. This kicks off the Wulven Kings MC series and Graves did a great job with the worldbuilding and a diverse group of personalities.
While it’s love at first sight, this love story spans fifteen years. Sam and Sofie go through so much and I found myself laughing, crying, and loving right along with them. Sam’s life as an MC member brings chaos and danger into Sofie’s life in ways she never anticipated.
Despite the danger and questionable morals, I still felt invested in all the members of the MC. It’s obvious what an amazing family they are to Sam and I love how they want Sam & Sofie to be together.
I’m definitely listening to the next book, Surviving Midnight.
Narration:
I loved Conan Kennedy’s narration. He has a wide range of voices for the characters and really brought the emotions through. I especially liked that his entire voice changed registers for the chapters from Sofie’s perspective. I loved his voice for Sam – gruff, perfect for an MC member, and sexy. Marbles was an absolute riot.
