I love single Mom romance, cute kids, and stoic men… er… aliens.

Supra Velum: A Spooky Scifi Romance Anthology
This charity anthology consists of more than 30 stories. I’ll be reviewing as many as I can and have decided to dedicate a post to each one.
Safe With You
I enjoyed the first one but absolutely loved this one.
Everything Happens for a Reason
The presentation is disorganized and at times incoherent.
Hour of the Assassin
Nick, a former secret service agent, was a great mix of skill, experience, and intuition without being *too* perfect.
Muscle Cub
I continue to enjoy James’s emotional and witty writing – I finished everything he’s released in the last week.
The Day Pass
James perfectly captures all the zing, excitement, and anticipation in this meet cute.
The Cubby Hole
I think this suffered from being entirely from Eric’s POV. Even at the end, Ben felt like a wisp that never fully took shape. Like Eric was still making assumptions.
The Uncut Wood
I think friends to lovers is great for short stories because there’s already a lot of established history and connection between the MCs.
Grumpy Bear
Lots of my favorite tropes: grumpy/sunshine, opposites attract, workplace romance – specifically boss/employee, age gap. Instalove is not usually my thing, but I felt a stronger connection between Luke & Coleman in a few days than I have in many books spanning months.
